I am from West Hartford and living in Burlington, CT. I am currently a registered Dental Hygienist and have been practicing for the past 7 years. My original thought was to follow my passion of horses and major in equestrian studies which I did accomplish and earned my B.S from Centenary College in NJ. I can remember at an early age of four of having a desire to ride and asking for my own pony. My parents thought it was merely a phase but at 36 years old I am still dedicated to my four legged furry friends. Along with being an equestrian I am enthusiastic for the outdoors. I am a lover of skiing and snowboarding, scuba diving, water-skiing, wakeboarding, boating, fishing and hiking. The world is an amazing place and has so much to offer. As I continue to search for my role in life I have found that I enjoy helping others. As a hygienist I promote oral health everyday and try to help people one smile at a time. However I felt like there was more of a purpose to my life. For the past 4 years I have been involved in Beachbody and trying to get healthier in my life. I realized by becoming more fit that I developed stronger legs, seat and core. This ultimately changed my riding for the better! I was able to sit the trot longer, be balanced in the saddle and even stay in my half seat with out getting winded! It came to me, why not guide others to a healthier lifestyle especially other equestrians? Becoming fit for the saddle is proven to help with posture, endurance, strength and confidence. Our country continues to have an increase in high blood pressure, obesity and cholesterol at an alarming rate. All these health issues can be resolved by eating better and working out. This is why I decided to become a Beachbody Coach and help others reach their fitness and nutritional goals. Beachbody has changed my life for the better and I know it will impact and change other people’s lives too.
